Installation
To install Carman, you will need to follow the bellow instructions from a Nokia's 770/N800/N810 browser.
Before installing Carman, you need to know which OS version your device is running (see Control Panel/About Product).
If your device is running the OS 2008, click on the link bellow to install Carman:

If your device is running an older system version (OS 2006/2007), you need to install the Python 2.5 runtime for Maemo before installing Carman. If your device already has Python 2.5 installed, please go to Step 2
Step 1: Install Python 2.5 for Maemo
Before you install Python 2.5 for Maemo, you will need to remove ALL installed applications that depends on python2.4-runtime, otherwise you won't be able to unintall python2.4-runtime that conficts with python2.5-runtime. For further information, see Python 2.5 installation page.
The python 2.5 procedure depends on the OS version running on your device. Please check your running OS version (see Control Panel/About Product) and follow the respective steps bellow:

Python 2.5 for OS2006 depends on packages in the base repository:
